Admission open for TU affiliated BIT course: Here are the details about form Submission

BIT Course:

Bachelors in Information Technology (BIT) program of Tribhuvan University is designed by closely following the courses practiced in accredited international universities, subject to the condition that the intake students have twelve years of schooling in any stream or equivalent from any recognized board.


  • The students should have completed a twelve-year of schooling in any stream or equivalent from any university, board, or institution recognized by TU.
  • They must have secured a minimum of the second division in their +2 or equivalent OR should have at least a ‘C’ grade or CGPA 2.0 in all subjects in Class 11 and 12 by taking English and Mathematics of 100 marks.
  • Passed A level in any stream and secured at least a ‘D’ grade in English and Mathematics.
  • Passed 3 Years Diploma in Engineering program from CTEVT taking both English and Mathematics.

Form submitting process

Unlike before, the form submission process this year is completely online. The students can get access to the form from the website of Tribhuwan Institute of science and technology i.e. ( and it has to be submitted to the same site. The online form is open from 10:00 am on 3rd of Magh to 5:00 pm on 26th of Magh. The form will be closed after the estimated period. However, the students can still apply by paying double fees from 10:00 am onward on 27th of Magh to 05:00 pm on 4th of Falgun.

Rs. 1500 is declared as the form fee for this year.  The fee must be deposited to any of the branches of Global IME bank in account no. 0501010000023 or through e-banking/ e-Sewa/ connect IPS. The voucher number or the transaction ID has to be mentioned on your particular form. Your certificate, mark sheet, transcript, or any equivalent verification papers must be submitted with your form. An MRP standard photo must be included too.

You will receive an acknowledgment page after the completion of the form filling process which is suggested to be printed out.

The entrance card will also be provided online from the 5th of falgun. The card should be downloaded and printed out in colored format. The students must be present at their referred centers for examination with their entrance card and an identification certificate containing their photos such as citizenship, driving license, or a card from a previously studied institute.

The exam center, date, and time will be declared after the distribution of the entrance card.
