Nepal reports 3,167 new COVID-19 cases taking national tally to 1,29,304

Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, Health Ministry spokesperson confirmed 3,167 new COVID-19 cases from 15,438 RT-PCR (Real-time – Polymerase Chain Reaction) tests performed in the past 24 hours, taking the national tally to 1,29,304.

Nepal on Saturday recorded 12 new COVID-19 related deaths, as total deaths reached 727. There are also 1,800 COVID recover cases. As the total recovery reach, 89,840 which is 69.4% of the total confirmed case.

MOHP confirmed there are 38,737 COVID active cases in Nepal. The spokesperson said before that the country may again go on lockdown again if the active cases will cross 25,000.

The Ministry of Health and Population said 12,69,604 PCR tests have been performed in the country so far. And 89,840 or 69.4 percent, individuals have made successful recoveries after being diagnosed with Covid-19.

Manag is the only district with zero Corona Virus active cases.
